This study wraps a floating vanity and the wall behind it in green marble with strong white veining, then keeps everything else quiet: pale floors, plaster walls, and brushed brass.
Dark green marbles have a deep ground and lively veining. Used on a single element, they make a small room memorable without adding clutter.
Carrying the stone up the wall and folding it into a mitered vanity front makes the piece read as one block. That depends on careful slab selection so the veining continues around corners.

- Where it works
- Powder rooms, vanities, bar fronts, and fireplace surrounds.
- Pairs with
- Brushed brass, pale limestone or plaster, white oak.
Before you choose it
- Marble is softer and more porous than quartzite or porcelain. It can etch and needs sealing, which matters most at a sink.
- See the full slabs, not only a sample. Veining varies a great deal from slab to slab.
- Mitered edges with continuous veining need a fabricator experienced in slab layout.
- A green porcelain or sintered surface gives a similar look with less maintenance.
