FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do you offer both design and construction management?

Yes. Cali Renderings provides full-service interior design and construction project management, from concept and drawings to materials, finishes, and coordination on site. Construction itself is carried out by the contractors and trades on your project.

What is the difference between Interior Design and Full Remodeling?

Interior Design covers the design work: layouts, drawings, materials, cabinetry, lighting, furnishings, and renderings. Full Remodeling adds the coordination of the renovation itself, with Andres working alongside the contractors, trades, and vendors who build it.

Do you design only kitchens, or entire homes?

Both. Custom kitchens are a specialty, and the portfolio also includes whole homes, primary suites, bathrooms, and commercial interiors.

Do you handle renovations as well as new construction?

Yes. The portfolio includes renovations of existing homes and interiors for newly built homes.

How does the design process work?

It begins with a consultation. After a written proposal, Andres develops layouts, drawings, mood boards, and material selections, shows key spaces in 3D renderings, and then coordinates ordering and construction.

Do you provide 3D renderings?

Yes. Realistic renderings let you see your project before construction, and virtual tours are available as well.

Do I need an architect first?

Not always. If you already have architectural plans, Andres can collaborate with your architect. If not, he can guide you from the beginning and tell you when other professionals are needed.

How do you charge for your services?

Fees depend on the scope and complexity of the project. Depending on the services, Cali Renderings may charge a fixed fee, an hourly rate, a price per square foot, or a percentage of construction cost. After the first consultation you receive a detailed proposal with the scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees.

Do you work with Italian cabinetry and other imported materials?

Yes. Andres sources cabinetry, porcelain and stone slabs, lighting, and fixtures from American, Italian, and European manufacturers he has worked with for years.

Where do you work?

The focus is Miami, Palm Beach, Southwest Ranches, and Fort Lauderdale. Andres has also worked on homes and commercial projects in California, Nevada, Colorado, Wyoming, and the Bahamas, so projects in other locations can be discussed.
