The Reading Corner

A window seat, one good chair, and shelves within reach.

Concept rendering of a walnut-paneled reading nook with a window seat, a moss green armchair, and a brass floor lamp.

Walnut shelving, a deep window seat, and a sculptural moss green armchair make a reading corner that uses the window as much as the furniture.

A reading corner needs little: daylight, a lamp for evening, a surface for a cup, and a chair you can stay in. Built-in shelves and a window seat add seating without adding furniture.

Dark walnut makes the corner feel enclosed and quiet while the large window keeps it bright.
