Sculptural Curves

Curved furniture that softens a room built on straight lines.

Concept rendering of a living room with a curved cream sofa, a round dark metal coffee table, and an arched plaster opening.

A long curved sofa, a round metal coffee table, and a rust velvet chair echo the arched opening behind them, so furniture and architecture share one gentle shape.

Curves change how a room is used. A curved sofa turns seats toward each other for conversation, and round tables are easier to move around.

Here the curve repeats at three scales: the arch, the sofa, and the table. Texture does the rest, with bouclé, velvet, metal, and a thick wool rug.

Where it works
Open living rooms, rooms with arches or curved walls, conversation areas.
Pairs with
Plaster walls, wide plank wood floors, warm metals, rust or olive accents.

Before you choose it

  • A curved sofa takes more floor area than a straight one with the same seating. Check the furniture plan before ordering.
  • Bouclé is soft but can snag. Performance versions suit homes with pets or children.
  • A round or generous rug keeps the group anchored.
